ALL TRAINING GUARANTEED!

If in a period of 6 months, you think you haven't learn anything, we will give you your money back, no questions asked!
Why do we think you should study Karate?
Statistics show that more and more people are getting hurt, getting bigger, and getting lazier. In many instances these situations
could have been easily avoided. How?
Simply by accepting the fact that
we are living in a violent society, by accepting that you could be in the wrong end of the stick one day,
and by accepting the fact that perhaps we do not care for each other anymore, not even ourselves!
To prevent this event from happening to you, there are many avenues for you to explore.
Martial Arts training is one of them; -the
total body workout
,- and this is just the beginning! Fitness and self defence are just two simple reasons why people should look at martial
arts as an avenue to well being and self preservation, rather than sitting around in front of the television, or playing console games all
day.
Doing Karate is not just throwing kicks and punches.
It is a way of life, and one that allow us to promote good health, a clean mind,
intellectual stimulation, and the enhancement of one's own life for the rest of our lives. Karate training activates your resolve
mechanisms, your ability to coordinate thought and motion, the way you look at things, and your own body and mind. It teaches you to
become a better person within yourself and towards your peers.
Although traditional Karate training is not for everyone (little children should play with little children), the art its still compatible with
all types of people, regardless of their age, physical shape, and/or previous martial arts training, and should be most inviting to those who
for reason or another have not been able to engage in any physical activity for a while.
Karate training is an unique source of health benefits. It is a great cardiovascular, motion-range, and muscle-toning activity, and
together with the anaerobic, proprioception (position sense), focus and coordination exercises, it could just be considered as an
"all-around" sport. Better still, a number of traditional karate styles (Goju Ryu is one) emphasises the need for the improvement of the
"inner core" or the internal side of the human body, by promoting very articulated breathing exercises which will cater for the
development of strong organs, specially your lung capacity and cardiopulmonary activity.
In our experience, we have noted over the years a number of students who came to train and were asthmatics, and whom after a
period of time either stopped taking or greatly reduced the need for Asthma related medicines. Call it what you will, the examples have
been clear to see, and have benefited these people enormously.
If all this doesn't make you think, you are looking at the wrong screen!
Karate, better than aerobics?
Sure! Do you want to dance or survive? In Karate training not only you learn how to defend yourself, but you also acquire the
necessary strength and stamina required for long
anaerobic work outs.
  Karate training involves lots of
plyometric, anaerobic and cardiovascular exercises, together with the kicking and punching, therefore, it
develops a well balanced practitioner. Cardio vascular activity brings  tremendous results to the
karate-ka, not long after he or she joins a
Martial Arts class anywhere.
When looking for a Karate School, make sure the Instructor offers and understands what you are all about, especially if you are very
specific in your demands.
The question to ask yourself is, whether it would be more beneficial to gain fitness while training to achieve self confidence and street
awareness, or whether a bit of jumping around would do.
Remember,-  you can't defend yourself with a CD player!!
WOMEN'S SELF DEFENCE
Although we all know  women suffer at the hands of men (and  women as well), it is sad to see that women's perception of violence
have not changed with the times.
   Even if
FREE classical self defence classes for women were on offer, they (the classes) do not seem strike a cord with women in
general, and very few ever take the chance to improve their looks, confidence and well being.
Is the first step that hard to take? Is the hurdle that big? Or is it more like,-
"I don't like to take anything on in Summer because it is
too hot, and neither in winter, because it's too cold"
?
Are thugs and hoodlums going to wait for the seasons to change to assault you? Or rape doesn't occur in summer/winter? Is it the  -
"it
could never happen to me"
syndrome perhaps?
Our Karate school is presently running
FREE SELF DEFENCE courses for women of all ages. This courses are unlimited in time, and
present no shortcuts.
There's everything a woman should know about self protection, rape crisis, domestic violence etc, and the syllabus is second to none.
Most ladies would appreciate the effort that has gone into the setting up of these courses, and none would go home dissatisfied.
Why not then learn how to protect yourself, and at the same time  bringing your fitness level up a couple of notches... or three?
What is it required from you? Nothing! Just turn up, that's all that we require. At the end of the Courses we  have a Grading
Ceremony, and everyone  gets  a Competency Certificate.

YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO DEFEND YOURSELF!
